Local Fishermen Work in Offshore Wind

NEW BEDFORD, MA – September 24, 2021 – Offshore Wind Farm Support is proud to announce the placement of seasoned, experienced and knowledgeable fisherman known as “Certified Fisheries Liaison Officer” onboard the Survey Vessel Regulus for Vineyard Wind.

The Regulus will be performing Geo-SubSea Survey operations in the southern/central portion of Lease Area 501. There are 17 different Offshore Wind Farms under development on the Eastern Seaboard of the USA and Vineyard Wind is one of four developers who recognize the importance of real time communication between fishermen and developers and require all survey vessels to have a CFLO onboard.
